From Funder to Founder
After ten years working on the funder's side, Lauren saw the struggles nonprofits face in securing the resources they need. She realized that the challenges went beyond funding—there was a need for tailored, sustainable strategies to create truly inclusive and thriving organizations.
With this insight, she founded Conscious Community Strategies, dedicated to grant writing, DEI coaching, and nonprofit consulting. Today, Lauren partners with organizations to help them secure essential funding, implement diversity and inclusion strategies, and build impactful initiatives that align with their missions and values.
Lauren’s experience on both sides of the funding process gives her a deep understanding of what works—and what doesn’t—when it comes to grant development and organizational sustainability.
